We talk about what went wrong. What hurt. Who disappointed us. What bill is due. What prayer hasn’t been answered yet. What we’re tired of dealing with. What we wish would change. And listen… those things are real. I’m not saying pretend everything is okay when it isn’t. I’m not saying you can’t have hard days, cry, vent, or admit that life is LIFE-ING. πŸ˜‚ But sis, if we’re not careful, we can become so focused on what’s going wrong that we completely overlook everything God is still doing right. πŸ’œ I Have Burdens, But I Have Blessings Too There are things in my life that I would change if I could. There are things I’m praying about. There are days I get frustrated. There are days when I’m tired. There are things I’m still waiting for God to answer. But when I really stop and look around…...

Still, Sis… His Presence Is Enough πŸ’œ

  πŸ’œ Becoming Her: Sis, Sometimes You Just Need to Sit in His Presence Just a little while ago, I went to the park. No big plans. No agenda. I simply found a table, sat down, and was still. And sis… I needed that. I wasn’t thinking about work. I wasn’t thinking about what needed to get done. I wasn’t thinking about tomorrow. I wasn’t asking God for anything. For a moment, I just sat there. Me and God. And I could feel His presence. When Was the Last Time You Were Just Still? We are always doing something. Working. Taking care of everybody. Checking our phones. Planning the next thing. Worrying about something we can’t control. Even our prayer time can sometimes become a list: God, I need this. God, fix that. God, open this door. God, change this situation. But when was the last time you sat with God and didn’t ask Him for anything? When was the last time you simply said: “God, I’m here.” That’s what today felt like for me.
