God Called You To It
Becoming Her: Sis, If God Called You to It, Trust Him to Provide π
Sis, have you ever known God was calling you to do something, but the people around you just didn’t understand it?
Maybe you tried to explain the vision, and they looked at you like, “Girl… what are you talking about?” π
Maybe they questioned why you were doing it.
Maybe they didn’t support it the way you thought they would.
Or maybe God gave you an assignment that was so much bigger than what you had in your hands that even YOU started questioning it.
I’ve been there.
But one thing I’m learning in this Becoming Her season is this:
When God calls you to fulfill His plan, He will provide what you need to carry it out.
That doesn’t mean everything will come at once. It doesn’t mean the journey will always make sense. And it definitely doesn’t mean everybody will understand.
Sometimes God will give you the vision because He gave you the assignment.
Sis, Everybody Won’t See What God Showed You
This one will free somebody.
Stop exhausting yourself trying to make everybody understand what God told YOU.
Whew. ππΎ
We can spend so much time explaining, defending, and looking for validation that we forget the most important question:
“God, what did YOU tell me to do?”
People may not understand why you started the business.
Why you went back to school.
Why you started the ministry.
Why you walked away.
Why you started over.
Why you keep serving when it looks like nobody notices.
Why you’re building something that hasn’t produced fruit yet.
But sis, they weren’t there when God placed that thing in your spirit.
Everybody doesn’t have to understand your obedience.
π§️ Remember Noah
Think about Noah.
God told Noah to build an ark.
Can you imagine how that looked to everybody watching?
Noah was building something because of what God told him was coming, not because of what everyone around him could currently see.
That’s faith.
Noah had to keep building while people didn’t understand.
Keep building when the assignment probably felt overwhelming.
Keep building before there was visible evidence that what God said would actually happen.
And that’s where some of us are right now.
We’re building the ark before we’ve seen the rain.
Sis, keep building.
π God Will Provide What the Assignment Requires
Sometimes we hear God’s calling and immediately start counting what we don’t have.
I don’t have enough money.
I don’t have enough connections.
I don’t have enough experience.
I don’t know the right people.
I’m not ready.
But what if God isn’t asking you to already possess everything you need?
What if He’s asking you to trust the One who called you?
Provision doesn’t always arrive before obedience.
Sometimes you take one step, and God provides for that step.
Then you take another.
And another.
Until one day you look back and realize:
God was providing the whole time.
The connection came.
The resource showed up.
Somebody donated.
The right person called.
A door opened that you couldn’t have opened yourself.
And all you can say is, “God, that HAD to be You.” πππΎ
Don’t Let Criticism Make You Abandon the Assignment
Sis, if you’re going to walk in purpose, you have to become comfortable with sometimes being misunderstood.
Not everybody will clap.
Not everybody will support.
Some people may even criticize what you’re building.
But criticism doesn’t automatically mean you’re outside of God’s will.
Go back to God.
Pray.
Seek His wisdom.
Stay teachable.
Make adjustments when He tells you to.
But don’t abandon something God told you to build simply because somebody else can’t see the blueprint.
Noah didn’t need everybody to understand the ark. He needed to obey God and build it.
And maybe that’s your word today:
BUILD IT ANYWAY.
Build while you’re praying.
Build while you’re learning.
Build while you’re nervous.
Build while you’re waiting on resources.
Build when they don’t understand.
Build when you can’t see how everything is going to come together.
If God truly called you to it, trust Him enough to keep walking with Him through it.
ππΎ Becoming Her Means Trusting the Assignment
Becoming Her isn’t just about becoming the woman I want to be.
It’s becoming the woman God is calling me to be.
And sometimes that requires obedience before understanding.
Faith before evidence.
Movement before provision.
And trusting God when the vision makes sense to nobody but you and Him.
So sis, whatever God has placed in your heart in this season, take it back to Him.
And if He says GO—go.
If He says BUILD—build.
If He says WAIT—wait.
If He says MOVE—move.
You don’t need everybody’s approval when you already have God’s instructions.
Keep building your ark, sis.
The people around you may not see the rain yet…
but you know what God told you. πππΎ
Keep trusting.
Keep obeying.
Keep walking by faith.
And keep Becoming Her.
