Rejected by Them,Anointed by God

πŸ’œ Becoming Her: Rejected by Them, Anointed by God

Sis, rejection will make you question yourself if you let it.

It will have you wondering what’s wrong with you, why they didn’t choose you, why they didn’t support you, why they overlooked you, or why it seemed like everybody else was accepted except you.

But what if the rejection was never proof that you weren’t enough?

What if God was protecting you from being attached to something that could not go where He is taking you?

Because sis, sometimes the most rejected people are the very ones God is preparing for something greater.

While they ignored you, God was anointing you.

While they overlooked you, God was developing you.

While they counted you out, God was calling you deeper into purpose.

Rejection Will Hurt, But It Does Not Define You

Let’s be real.

Rejection hurts.

Especially when it comes from people you loved, supported, showed up for, or thought would be there for you.

Sometimes it makes you want to shrink yourself.

Sometimes it makes you question your gift.

Sometimes it makes you feel like you need to prove yourself.

But sis, you do not have to beg to be accepted in places where God never assigned you.

You do not have to convince people to see what God already placed inside of you.

Everybody will not understand your calling.

Everybody will not celebrate your growth.

Everybody will not recognize the oil on your life.

And that is okay.

Being Chosen by God Will Not Always Look Like Being Chosen by People

This is something I am learning in my own Becoming Her journey.

Sometimes being chosen by God means being misunderstood by people.

Sometimes it means walking alone for a season.

Sometimes it means watching doors close that you thought were meant for you.

Sometimes it means God separating you from certain people because your purpose requires a different environment.

That separation can feel lonely, but lonely does not always mean abandoned.

Sometimes God is creating space so you can hear Him clearly.

Sometimes He is removing the noise so you can recognize His voice.

Sometimes He is teaching you that your identity was never supposed to come from people accepting you in the first place.

Stop Chasing Their Approval

Sis, you will wear yourself out trying to make people understand you.

Trying to prove that you belong.

Trying to convince people you are worthy.

Trying to get a seat at a table God may be telling you to walk away from.

There comes a point where you have to say:

If God chose me, that is enough.

If God called me, that is enough.

If God gave me the assignment, that is enough.

If God opened the door, I don’t need everybody else to approve of me walking through it.

That kind of confidence does not come from ego.

It comes from knowing Who you belong to.

Your Rejection May Be Redirection

Some of the things that hurt you the most may eventually make sense.

That relationship ending.

That opportunity passing you by.

That group leaving you out.

That person not supporting you.

That door closing.

You may look back one day and realize God was saying:

“That wasn’t where I needed you.”

Rejection can feel personal in the moment, but sometimes it is simply God redirecting your steps.

And when you stop chasing what rejected you, you finally have room to walk toward what God prepared for you.

Sis, You Are Still Becoming

So no, do not let rejection make you bitter.

Let it make you wiser.

Let it teach you discernment.

Let it push you closer to God.

Let it remind you that your value was never determined by who accepted you or who walked away.

You are still called.

You are still chosen.

You are still growing.

And you are still becoming the woman God created you to be.

So the next time rejection tries to convince you that you are not enough, remember this:

While they ignored you, God was anointing you.

While they rejected you, God was redirecting you.

While they counted you out, God was preparing you.

Sis, stop chasing acceptance and start walking confidently in your assignment.

The people who do not recognize what God placed in you do not have the power to cancel it.

Rejected by them does not mean rejected by God. πŸ’œ

Keep growing.
Keep trusting.
Keep obeying.
Keep Becoming Her.
